By Land 4×4 + Speedboat

The most common way to get to San Blas is by 4×4 vehicle and it will take approximately 5 hours from Panama City to Carti (simple piers on the beach port on the mainland of Carti – San Blas), then a taxi-boat from the beach same company will take you to the catamaran.

• 3 people: $430 one way / $860 roundtrip

• 4 people: $470 one way / $940 roundtrip

• 5 people: $510 one way / $1,020 roundtrip

Important Details for Your Trip

To ensure a smooth experience, please note the following additional charges, payable in cash on site:

* Entrance to San Blas (NUSAGANDI Border):

* Tourists: $25 per person

* Panamanians and Residents: $6 per person

* Children up to 9 years old: Exempt from payment!

* Important: Keep your entry receipts; the Kunas may request them when returning to the port.

* Port Taxes: $2 per person.

Travel Schedule and Logistics

* Pickup in Panama City: Between 5:00 AM and 5:30 AM. Your private driver will take you directly to the port.

* 4×4 Vehicle Capacity: Each vehicle has capacity for up to 6 passengers, offering space and comfort.

Departure Times from San Blas to Panama City:

* Morning Shift: Between 6:00 AM and 8:30 AM.

* Afternoon Shift: Between 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM.

Zone Considerations:

* ZONE 1 (Morning Departures 7:00-8:30 AM / Afternoon 2:30-3:30 PM):

* Banedup, Elephant (Tiadup), Nuinudup, Big Dog, Yansaladup, Chichime, Salardup (afternoon departure 2:30 PM).

* ZONE 2 (Only Morning Departures between 6:10-7:30 AM):

* Nargana (6:10), Flowers (6:15), Green Island (6:20-6:30), Waisaladup (6:25-6:35), Cambombia (6:40-7:00), Salardup (7:00-7:30).

If you are in Zone 2 and wish to depart in the afternoon, please consult with your captain. We will do our best to coordinate, depending on your island location for disembarkation.

Traveling with Little Ones:

* Children 5 and under: Travel free if they sit on their parent’s lap during the ride.

* Additional Child Seat: If you prefer a separate seat for your child, it costs $80 round trip.

* Mandatory: If you are traveling with two children under five years old, it is mandatory to purchase an additional space (seat) for $80, for safety reasons.

* Safety: We strongly recommend bringing life jackets for children under four years of age.

By Air
